Rosie: Rosie broke our hearts. This tiny, emaciated girl came to live with us shortly after our move to Perry. She had been found at a dump site and needed lots of love and healing, physically and emotionally. Complicating our efforts, however, was a lack of socialization. Rosey was not used to being a house dog and she appeared to be deep into her senility (canine cognitive dysfunction). Well, she ran away never to be heard from again. ‘while we are unsure of her fate, she was last seen at a neighbor’s house and we suspect that she was taken in by one of the families. Nevertheless, we miss her terribly and the ache in our hearts just won’t go away. Godspeed, Rosie, wherever you may be.
