Waffles: We said goodbye to our beloved Waffles in late February, 2026. 15-year-old Waffles had joined the Leashes End family on 02 September 2023 as part of our perpetuity care program. Waffles came from a loving home. But sadly, his dad passed away, and his mom was in a memory care home. His human siblings each tried to keep him at their homes, but for various reasons it just wouldn’t work out. Don’t let his size fool you. Waffles was a gentle, sensitive baby … and a leader of the pack! Kid you not, every new dog cozied up to Waffles as their new BFF! As for Waffles, he didn’t mind; just so long as we kept Kari’s delicious food coming and let him enjoy the great outdoors, particularly in the rain, snow, and cold. With his thick coat, Waffles was impervious to inclement weather. RIP Waffles, Old Friend; may your memory be a blessing. Z”L.
