Maximus
Maximus: We had to say goodbye to Max in October, 2026; he was nearly 14 years old and suffering from significant joint pain. Then-11-year-old Max had joined the Leashes End family in mid-April 2024. A common story, Maximus was loved by his human mom until she passed away. His human sibling, no youngster herself, was a musician, whose career had her traveling more often than not. Despite weighing in at 65 lbs, Max charmed the pants off us all! Max was quite the talker with his low, rumbling baritone. He loved running around the Florida acreage, never missed a walk, enjoyed beef for dinner, and loved sleeping in bed with the humans … especially Kari!. RIP, Max. May your memory be a blessing. Z”L
