Mickey: In May, 2022, sweet 14-year-old Mickey passed away from complications resulting from his brain tumor. He had joined Leases End only four months earlier as a “hospice” case. The shelter decided that Mickey needed a quiet place where he could live out his “days.”Despite Mickey’s severe dementia, anxiety, and poor eyesight he was a happy fellow … most of the time.
