Peri
Peri: In September, 2024, we got wind of a 13-year-old “darling Maltese” at Montgomery County Animal Services shelter. She had been matted and not very happy with the idea of walking around. She also showed some vague neurologic signs. She was the perfect Leashes End dog and we scooped her up. Peri was sweet as can be but her neurological events increased in frequency and intensity during her time with us. Margie tended to her every need until at last we had to say goodbye. Peri passed away in the fall of 2024, nearly a year after coming to us. RIP, Peri darling; may your memory be a blessing.
